OUR MISSION

Hope Tribe’s main mission is to start a society-wide dialogue about mental health issues and stop the stigma that surrounds it.

We see our role as to be a channel of outreach, education and activism on mental health. There's a huge stigma associated with mental health issues and the overwhelming majority of people report being misunderstood by family members, shunned, ignored or called names and labelled by friends, work colleagues and health professionals. Stigma and discrimination prevent people from seeking help: this can delay treatment and impair recovery. Our mission is to change the outlook on mental health issues, to stop the stigma around it and get those who suffer the help and support they need and deserve.
